Driving across Costa Blanca will be one of the most scenic routes you've ever taken. You can drive the Mediterranean coastline and really appreciate the beauty that Spain has to offer. You can also stop off in each little village or town and soak up the Spanish culture.

A Good Place to Start....
Alicante is a great place to start and might be somewhere that you want to stay for a few days, as this is not just a place that you pass through on your journey. It is a beautiful town that you will undoubtedly appreciate.
Moving on....
If you want to head south then there are a number of cool places, however Santa Pola is a particularly popular one. It is an extremely scenic route and very relaxing, and if you decide to drive up some of the cliffs you will see some of the most amazing views in Spain, and can stop off at pop-up bars and restaurants.
You can also visit Torrevieja, which is a cheaper resort and might be a welcome stop at the end of your trip. There is also one of the largest markets in
Europe where you can buy some souvenirs of your journey.
If you wanted to head more north then you could visit Benidorm. A very well known resort in the UK of course, but it is a place where you can go a bit crazier than the rest of your trip and party a bit more as it has over 100 bars on its main strip.
It may also be a nice feel of home while you’re there due to the fact that so many Brits go out there. It’s a great place for the whole family, as the resorts allow for people of all ages.
You could also make your way to Altea, this is the classic Spain that you think of, a small town, with cobbled streets and small restaurants. It would be a great place to visit and relax after the madness of Benidorm. It also boasts views of deep blue oceans and has a backdrop of some beautiful mountains.
If you head to Javea or Moraira then you'll be entertained for your entire stay. There's stunning hidden coves and caves that offer great exploration. The area has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the locals are extremely friendly.
Regardless of the route you take, a car journey across Costa Blanca will be the trip of a lifetime.
You will see some of the most beautiful scenery in Europe, and can get plenty of pictures to make sure you don’t forget any of the memories you make on the journey.
You will also undoubtedly make a lot of friends while you are out there, the locals are always friendly and not only this but you will probably come across other travellers who you can make friends with.
Finally, check out Google maps before your trip and plan out which roads you want to take:
